About
Paul started as a volunteer firefighter in the 1980's working alongside his father and others in their community. He has worked as a firefighter and trainer, delivering a range of bushfire and incident management training courses. Paul has been deployed to bushfires across Western Australia and interstate to New South Wales and Victoria.
Paul and his wife Lynette built the first Bushfire Model in 2016 to help a firefighter share his knowledge with new brigade members. The success of this first session quickly led to requests for more models.
In recent times these requests have included models for Fire & Rescue Service and State Emergency Service personnel.
Based in regional Western Australia, their small business designs and supplies training models to brigades, mining companies and fire departments across Australia.

Our goal is to help firefighters share their knowledge. We started by helping a local firefighter and have been fortunate to work with so many firefighters and agencies across Australia.
The ongoing feedback and support we receive is a huge part of the Bushfire Model’s success.
Each model is made by hand, an investment in time that maintains our aim of helping firefighters share their knowledge.
